Unitron SFLEDS

Single cabinet and Modular configured Super Flight Line Electrical Distribution Systems (SFLEDS) originally designed to respond to the U. S. Navy's program for pollution prevention (P2) instigated by its Pollution Prevention Equipment Program (PPEP) management team in the early 1990s.  The SFLEDS concept has been to replace the diesel powered Ground Support Equipment (GSE) with electrically driven GSE including but not limited to Engine Generators, Air Conditioning Systems, and Hydraulic power supplies; the latter two being accommodated by 100 Amp, 480 VAC, 60 Hz power receptacles provided as part of the Power Distribution (PDU) portion of the SFLEDS.

Today Unitron's SFLEDS product line offers the broadest selection of systems consisting of PDUs in combination with Ground Power Units (GPUs) which supply 28 VDC, 270 VDC, and 400 Hz power sources to support the needs of single or dual aircraft ramp service requirements per station.  These SFLEDS are available at various combinations of power ratings from 37.5 kVA to 180 kVA of 400 Hz, 400 to 600 Amps continuous and 2000 Amps starting capacity of 28 VDC, and 30 kW to 72 kW of 270 VDC.
